Learning about time

 We have been learning about time. Today a few students made water and sand timers to investigate units of time. 

Exploring Geometry

 We have started to explore geometry, with a focus on 2d and 3d shapes. A group of students have used straws to make and describe some 3d shapes. 

Which way?

We have been learning about directional language in R4.  Yesterday some students were using a compass to direct friends along a path to hopefully end up in a place. We were using compass points and stepping out to get there.
