It is with great sadness I share the news that Fynn's brother Aidan tragically passed away in an accident last week. Having taught Aidan a few years ago I know what a loss he will be to his friends, family and current school Rotorua Boys High School. Aidan was always cheerful and quick-witted, he was a lovely student who always said hello whenever I met him around town.
Aidan's funeral will be on Wednesday, I will be attending and know that it would be nice for Fynn to have some support from his friends. If your child would like to attend please let me know so I can make arrangements to transport them. Students who stay at school will be looked after by another teacher.
We had a class liturgy on Friday where I told the class of this awful news, our class was very caring and kind in their words and thoughts. Our Catholic character definitely shone through.
